Asset Recovery
Recover lost, unclaimed and forgotten shareholdings.
Investors lose track of holdings for ordinary reasons — an address change, a misplaced certificate, an inactive account, a merger, a death in the family, or records that were never updated. The holding usually still exists.
Overview
The holding exists. The link to it has broken.
Share recovery is fundamentally a records problem. The company still recognises the holding; what it cannot do is connect that holding to a person whose current identification does not match the record it holds.
The mismatch is usually mundane. An address from three decades ago. A maiden name. A folio in a company that has since merged twice. A holder who died without the family knowing what was held or where.
Each of those has an established route to resolution — but the route differs by case, and attempting the wrong one is the most common reason a recovery stalls before it starts.

Questions
Frequently asked
Generally yes. Loss of the physical certificate does not extinguish the holding. There is an established process for issuing a duplicate, which typically involves formalities with the company or its registrar and transfer agent.
